Memorial Services for William “Dub” Cantrell, 74 of Hackett, Arkansas will be at 11:00 am, Saturday June 1, 2024 at Mt. View Cemetery in Hackett, Arkansas. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.
William “Dub” Cantrell was born on January 12, 1950 in Waldron, Arkansas to Annie May (Smith) Cantrell and William Wes Cantrell and passed away on May 25, 2024 in Hackett, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Sonny Cantrell, Carl “CH” Cantrell, and Jimmy Cantrell.
Dub loved to go fishing with Torie and work in the garden with Liz. He loved being around his family. He served his Country as a Marine in the Special Forces.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Spangler-Cantrell; daughter, Torie Cantrell; sisters, Betty Weldon, Judy Rogers, Linda Kelly; his nieces and nephews, whom he treated like his children, other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
