William Leroy Fowler Sr, of Poteau, Oklahoma passed away peacefully November 29, 2025, in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 81. Leroy was born September 6, 1944, to William and Roxie (Cox) Fowler in Red Oak, Oklahoma.
Leroy was a Barber for over 35 years and Real Estate for many years in Poteau, Oklahoma.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, William Carl Fowler, two sisters, Louise and Ruthie Bell.
He is survived by his son, Leroy Fowler and Leslie of Panama, Oklahoma and his special friend, Barbara Grey of Poteau, Oklahoma; special loved ones, Russell and Melissa Duncan of Summerfield, Oklahoma, Dylan and Lisa Grey of Summerfield, Oklahoma, Cody and Lauren Duncan of Summerfield, Oklahoma, Brayden and Camri White of Riechert, Oklahoma, Amber Grey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jamie and Ashley Nix of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Heather Wilson and Naomi Permenter of Poteau, Oklahoma, Mekaleiah Roson of Odessa, Texas and Serenity Pounds of Odessa Texas; he was special papa to Shea White, Abbi White, Ledger White, Parker Nix and Jace Nix. also is best buddy Gerald “Bubba” Corbett.
The Celebration of Life Services for Leroy will be held 2 pm – Friday, December 5, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Leflore Cemetery. The Family of Leroy will greet friends from 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
