Funeral Service for Wilma Nadine Tackett, 78 of Bixby, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Bokoshe United Methodist Church in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Leroy Orr, officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Friday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Nadine was born on January 26, 1946 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Lula Mae and William Roy Hood and passed away on October 13, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nadine worked at Bokoshe Public School until she moved to Bixby, where she worked and retired from Shadow Mountain Behavioral Services. She was a member of the Bixby First Methodist Church.
Nadine is survived by her children, Theresa Drennon, Kim Rayon, and Kevin Tackett & wife Angela; grandchildren, Terra Murphy, Cody Rayon and wife Dani, Brianne Shelton & husband Skyler, Ashley Tackett, Ethan Rayon, Kenzie Tackett; great grandchildren, Phoenix, Ryder, Talon, and Zion Murphy, and Tea Shelton; sisters, Carol James and Sandy Side-Ekiss; countless nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Rayon, Ethan Rayon, Phoenix Murphy, Ryder Murphy, Skyler Shelton, and Jerry Alan Sides.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Sides, Paul Sides, Darin Sides, Matt James, and David James.
