Yazelle “Joy” Blaylock-Darneal, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, was born on June 2, 1952 in Bakersfield, California ro Ray Mirelle and Ester (Taurus) Mirelle and passed away on March 26, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Joy was married to Danny Darneal on August 26, 2017 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Donny Blaylock. Joy was a member of the Bokoshe Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband Danny Darneal; one son, Danny Blaylock; four grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, and one brother.
Cremation services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma. Private family services will be held at a later date.
