NORMAN – Oklahoma baseball is set to play in the 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic in Round Rock, Texas. Peak Events, in partnership with Karbach Brewing Company, Go Round Rock, and the Round Rock Express, announced Friday the participating teams for the event, held Feb. 21-23, 2025, at Dell Diamond, the home of Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate Round Rock Express.
The Sooners will join Minnesota, Oregon State and Virginia as teams playing in the elite showcase.
It marks the second time Oklahoma has played in the event after participating in the tournament in 2021. It will be the fourth time in the last five seasons OU has taken part in a tournament hosted by Peak Events (2021, Round Rock Classic; 2023 Frisco College Baseball Classic; 2024 Las Vegas College Baseball Classic).
The three-day, six-game schedule begins Friday, Feb. 21 with games at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. CT. Saturday and Sunday’s games are both slated for noon and 4 p.m. All six games are set to be broadcast exclusively via D1Baseball.com (subscription required).
Each day’s matchups will be announced at a later date.
