#theGAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Josh Bay, 1B/DH, Southern Nazarene, Fr., Shattuck, Oklahoma
Bay hit a robust .813 in the Crimson Storm’s four games. In a midweek contest against Southwestern Oklahoma State, he went 3-for-3 with two RBI. He collected 10 hits in the weekend series against Southeastern Oklahoma State. He hit two solo home runs in game one. He homered and drove in three in game two. He went 5-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in the finale.
#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Cole Dickson, SP, Arkansas Tech, Sr., Glendale, Arizona
Dickson tossed 7.0 scoreless frames against Southern Arkansas on Friday. He limited the Muleriders to just three singles and he permitted just one runner to reach scoring position. He struck out eight and did not issue a walk. The eight strikeouts represent his career high as a Wonder Boy.
#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Logan Sandoval, SP, Northwestern Oklahoma State, So., Ruidoso, New Mexico
Sandoval threw a five-hit complete game against East Central on Saturday. In the 98-pitch effort, he struck out three. For the time as a Ranger, he did not walk a batter in a start. After surrendering a lead-off home run, he retired 16 of the next 17 batters. He lowered his ERA to 3.14.
