RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the baseball weekly award winners for the fourth week of the 2025 season. Southern Arkansas’  Jayden Hill claimed Player of the Week and Harding’s Maddox Long garnered Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jayden Hill, OF, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Frisco, Texas
Against Southern Nazarene, Hill went 7-for-12  and produced a .706 on-base percentage. He registered multi-home-run games in each of the first two games. In the opener, he went 3-for-3 with four runs scored and six RBI. In game two, he went 3-for-4 and twice tied the game with home runs. He drove in three more runs. In the finale, he scored two runs.

#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Maddox Long, SP, Harding, Gr., Morrilton, Arkansas
Long repeated as GAC Pitcher of the Week after he recorded his second-straight 10-strikeout performance. In a 7-2 win against Southwestern Oklahoma State, he fanned 10 across 6.0 scoreless innings. He surrendered just one hit and one walk. He did not allow a runner past first base. He improved to 4-0 and lowered his ERA to 1.08.
