RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the baseball weekly award winners for the opening weekend of the 2025 season. Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Bodi Wallar earned Player of the Week and Southern Arkansas’ Jeremy Adorno claimed Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Bodi Wallar, DH, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Sr., Papillion, Nebraska
Wallar reached base 11 times in 16 plate appearances as the Bulldogs picked up three wins against Colorado School of Mines. He opened with two hits in an 8-3 win. In game two, he homered in both the first and second innings of an 18-7 win. He added a two-run double in the fourth. He drove in his seventh run of the series in game four.

#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jeremy Adorno, SP, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Kissimmee, Florida
Adorno collected the seventh Pitcher of the Week accolade of his career after he shut down UAFS on Saturday to earn his 29th-career win. He limited the Lions to two hits across 6.0 innings of work. The Lions hit just .105 off of him. He struck out seven and walked only two.
