RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the baseball weekly award winners for the second week of the 2025 season. Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Connor Green captured Player of the Week and Harding’s Preston Tabor earned Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Connor Green, 3B/DH, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Jr., La Habra, California
Green went 14-for-23 with a .615 on-base percentage as the Rangers went 4-1. He recorded multiple hits in four of the five games. Against Newman, he went 4-for-5 with two doubles and five RBI. In a series at New Mexico Highlands, he hit two home runs, drove in six runs, scored seven runs and stole a base.

#theGAC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Preston Tabor, SP, Harding, Sr., Burleson, Texas
Tabor picked up his second win in as many starts after he earned the victory in a 12-2 win against McKendree on Sunday. He limited the opposition to one run and six hits over 6.0 innings of work. He tallied a career-high 12 strikeouts, the most by a Harding starter since Merritt Jay notched 12 against Southwest Baptist on February 9, 2024.
