Williams averaged a GAC-leading 25.5 points per game in contests against Southeastern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State. He shot 65.6 percent from the floor. He went 13-for-18 and scored a season-high 31 points against the Savage Storm. He added nine assists and eight rebounds. He followed up with 20 points and eight rebounds against the Rangers.

Strong continued his stout play after he averaged 20.5 points in wins against Oklahoma Baptist and Southeastern Oklahoma State. Against the Bison, in a meeting of the GAC’s top two teams, he tallied 18 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Against the Savage Storm, he scored 23 points and added eight assists. He went 8-for-18 from the 3-point arc in the two wins.
#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Seybian Sims, F, Arkansas Tech, Gr., Coralville, Iowa
Sims averaged 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in contests against Harding and Arkansas-Monticello. Against the Bisons, he grabbed four rebounds and collected three steals. In an eight-point road win against the Weevils, he collected 12 rebounds and added three more steals. His 7.6 rebounds per game ranks third in the conference.
