#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK (WEEK 13)

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC men’s basketball players of the week for the 13th week of the season. Oklahoma Baptist’s Terry Coner, Jr. repeated as Player of the Week and Ouachita Baptist’s Jaxon Conley earned the Defensive Player of the Week award.

#theGAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Terry Coner, Jr., G, Oklahoma Baptist, Jr., Birmingham, Alabama
Coner, Jr. led the Bison to road wins against Southern Nazarene and Southeastern Oklahoma State that extended their win streak to 12. Against the Crimson Storm, he tallied a game-high 27 points, plus five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Against the Savage Storm, he amassed 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks.

#theGAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jaxon Conley, G, Ouachita Baptist, Fr., Springdale, Arkansas
Conley collected multiple steals in all three of the Tigers’ games last week. He added 18 rebounds, 15 on the defensive end. He blocked two shots against Arkansas Tech, his second game this season with multiple steals and blocks. He leads the conference with 56 steals and a 2.43 steals-per-game average.
