RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s basketball players of the week for the 14th week of the 2024-25 season. East Central’s Godsgift Ezedinma claimed the Offensive Player honor and Henderson State’s Tim McDonald earned the Defensive Player award.

Ezedinma registered consecutive 20-point performances. He tallied 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting against Southeastern Oklahoma State. He went 5-for-10 on 3-point tries and added six rebounds. He followed up with a game-high 20 points as the Tigers handed Southern Nazarene its first home loss of the season. He went 5-for-7 from the floor, 3-for-5 on 3-point tries.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tim McDonald, G, Henderson State, Sr., Marion, Arkansas
McDonald registered season highs in both blocks, three, and steals, five, in the Reddies two-point road contest against rival Ouachita Baptist. He added a game-high eight rebounds against the Tigers. He followed up three rebounds in a 25-point win against Arkansas-Monticello.
