RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s basketball players of the week for the penultimate week of the 2024-25 regular season. Henderson State’s Rondae Hill and Jamarion Brown captured the Offensive and Defensive awards, respectively after guiding the Reddies to two critical home wins.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Rondae Hill, G, Henderson State, Fr. Shreveport, Louisiana
Hill exploded for consecutive career-high scoring efforts against Oklahoma Baptist and No. 20 Southern Nazarene. He tallied 28  points on 11-of-19 shooting against the Bison. He added three assists and three steals. In an overtime win against the first-place Crimson Storm, he made 5-of-8 3-pointers, shot 7-of-14 overall and scored 29 points. He dished out four assists.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jamarion Brown, G, Henderson State, Jr., Mount Pleasant, Texas
Brown collected five steals in the Reddies’s wins against the Bison and Crimson Storm. His four steals against Southern Nazarene gave him four games this season with at least three steals. He added nine rebounds across the two games, including six against Oklahoma Baptist. Offensively, he dished out a season-high six assists against the Bison.
