RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s basketball players of the week for the fourth week of the 2024-25 season. Harding’s Rylie Marshall claimed Offensive Player of the Week; Arkansas Tech’s Seybian Sims earned Defensive Player of the Week.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Rylie Marshall, G, Harding, Jr., Beebe, Arkansas
Marshall averaged 23.0 points per game in games against Christian Brothers and Oklahoma Christian. He went 7-for-14 and made two 3-pointers against the Bucs. He scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting against the Eagles. He has three 20-point totals in his last four games.

#theGAC MEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Seybian Sims, F, Arkansas Tech, Gr., Coralville, Iowa
Sims grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds in the Wonder Boys’ non-conference contest against Pittsburg State. He pulled down 11 rebounds on the defensive end. He added two blocks and two steals. He added 19 points. His 8.8 rebounds per game rank third in the conference.
