RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the GAC women’s basketball players of the week for the 11th week of the season. Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Tori Kilburn won the Offensive Player of the Week accolade and Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Landry Allen claimed the Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Kilburn, the No. 4 freshman scorer across all of college basketball, extended her streak of 20-point games to six after she scored a season-high 36 in a win against Ouachita Baptist and followed up with 27 in a victory against Henderson State. She went 25-for-42 from the field in the two games and made all nine free throws. She averaged 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

#theGAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Landry Allen, F, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Jr., Tuttle, Oklahoma
Allen’s shot-blocking prowess shined in two contests as she rejected nine shots in a win against Arkansas Tech and seven against Harding. She became the second Division II player with multiple nine-block games this season and the first from the GAC since Southern Nazarene’s Abby Niehues in 2021-22.  She added 15 rebounds and eight steals across the two games.
