RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s basketball players of the week for the 11th week of the 2024-25 season. Harding’s Sage Hawley claimed both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors following wins against Arkansas Tech and Ouachita Baptist.

Hawley averaged 14.5 points per game on 50.0 shooting in the Lady Bisons wins against the Golden Suns and Tigers. One week after surpassing the 2,000-point milestone, she went 8-for-14 and scored 17 points in a 13-point win against Tech. She followed up with 12 points and four assists against Ouachita.

Hawley registered her ninth double-double of the season after she grabbed 16 rebounds against Arkansas Tech. She matched her career high with six blocks and added two steals. Against Ouachita Baptist, she collected six more rebounds and added three blocks.
