RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s basketball players of the week for the 13th week of the 2024-25 season. Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Caitlin Kobiske garnered Offensive Player of the Week and Southern Nazarene’s Hannah Giddey claimed Defensive Player of the Week.

#theGAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Caitlin Kobiske, F, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Sr., Keller, Texas
Kobiske registered her 10th and 11th 20-point performances of the season in dominating home wins against Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas. She scored 26 points on 7-for-14 shooting against the Muleriders. She added four rebounds and three steals. She followed up with 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting with three 3-pointers and six rebounds.

#theGAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Hannah Giddey, F, Southern Nazarene, Gr., Melbourne, Australia
Giddey notched two double-doubles to increase her total to a GAC-leading 12. Against Arkansas Tech, she pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked three shots. The Crimson Storm held the Golden Suns to 32.0 percent shooting. In a first-place battle against Harding, she grabbed 11 rebounds to go alongside two steals. The Lady Bisons shot 36.7 percent from the floor.
