#theGAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mackenzie Crusoe, G, Oklahoma Baptist, Gr., Choctaw, Oklahoma
Crusoe led the Bison in home victories against Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State. She tallied 21 points, six rebounds and five assists against the Tigers. She followed up with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting against the Reddies. She shot 55.6 percent for the week and made 4-of-8 3-pointers. The Bison improved to 7-0 at home for the first time since joining the GAC in 2015.
#theGAC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Marlee Bright, G, Southern Arkansas, Jr., Amity, Arkansas
Bright, the GAC’s leader in steals, recorded her fourth and fifth games with at least five steals after she amassed 13 in contests at Southwestern and Northwestern Oklahoma State. She came up with seven against the Bulldogs and six against the Rangers. Her 3.94 steals per game rank fourth in Division II. She owns five of the top seven single-game steals totals in the GAC this year.
