Led by first-year head coach, Craig Kirchgessner, the Lady Bisons feature two 2025 All-GAC performers in First-Team selection Karli Roux and Second-Team honoree Sofi Sarmiento. Roux and freshman Brooke Coffman combined to form the ITA’s No. 8 doubles team following a fall campaign that saw them reach the finals of ITA Central Region Championships and capture the Flight 1 title at the GAC Individual Championships. They also reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Cup. Roux claimed the No. 7 singles ranking in the Central Region. She advanced to the Round of 16 at the ITA Central Region Championships and won the Flight 1 title at the GAC Individual Championships.
The Muleriders picked up two first-place votes. A season ago, they won their fourth regular-season title – second outright – and took home their second GAC Championship title to reach their second NCAA Tournament in program history. At the GAC Individual Championships, Camila Corrales claimed the Flight 4 Singles title and Taylor Conway won the Flight 5 title. A strong fall from freshman Jolina Mass earned her the No. 18 ranking in the Central Region. Conway and Roksana Kokocha formed the No. 7 doubles team in the region.
Southeastern Oklahoma State placed third. They received one first-place vote. Milana Voloshyn returns after earning First-Team All-GAC honors a year ago. She won the Flight 2 title at the GAC Individual Championships.
Henderson State took fourth. The Reddies claimed the outstanding first-place vote. They bring back three All-GAC picks – Kristina Kozlova, Jenna Kate Bohnert and Angela Dorado Marin. Following fall play, Kozlova and Bohnert ranked as the No. 9 doubles pair in the Central Region. Emilia Nowak and Jordan Parker placed one spot higher, thanks to their Flight A Consolation win at the ITA Central Region Championships. Nowak added the Flight 3 title at the GAC Individual Championships. Bohnert and Adiya Abdugappar joined up to win the GAC Flight 3 doubles title.
Arkansas Tech finished fifth, followed by Ouachita Baptist. Elis Gergel returns for the Golden Suns following a Second-Team All-GAC performance. At the GAC Individual Championships the team of Lucia Perez and Natalya Montoya won the Flight 2 doubles title.
The Tigers feature a first-year head coach in alum Shelly Davilus. She lettered with the Tigers from 2020-2024. Her first team features Natalia Zamora Caprirolo, a member of the 2025 All-GAC Second Team. Marlee Bledsoe won the Flight 6 title at the GAC Individual Championships.
The Savage Storm will be the first GAC team to hit the courts first in the regular season when they face UT Dallas on Tuesday, February 3. Harding, Southern Arkansas, Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist debut on Friday, February 6. Arkansas Tech opens two days later.
The 2026 GAC Championships will feature the top six teams competing in a single-elimination event from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3. For the 13th-straight year, the event will take place in Bentonville, Arkansas.
