FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 7 Razorback Soccer and head coach Colby Hale released a six-game spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon that kicks-off on Sunday, Feb. 21st and features four home games at Razorback Field. Arkansas will face traditional Big 12 powers Kansas and Texas and have a home-and-away series with in-state opponent Arkansas State.

The Razorbacks open the 2021 schedule with a home match against Missouri State on Feb. 21st. It will be the first matchup between the two clubs since 2014 with the Razorbacks winning nine of 10 at home against the Bears all-time. One week later Arkansas will host St. Louis on Feb. 28th at noon. The two teams were originally scheduled to face each other in April last season before the game was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hogs then travel to Jonesboro for a matchup with the Red Wolves on March 20th before hosting the Kansas Jayhawks. KU won the 2019 Big 12 Tournament title and reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Razorbacks will look for their first win against Kansas since a 1-0 win in 2013.

Arkansas concludes the regular season with a rematch against Arkansas State a week later (April 10) and then travels to Austin, Texas for a date with the Texas Longhorns on April 15th. UT went 4-5 in the fall of 2020 playing an all-Big 12 schedule. The Razorbacks have gone 1-1-1 against the Longhorns since 2000.

Selections for the 2021 NCAA Tournament will be made on April 18th with 31 AQs and 17 at-large bids.

“We are excited about the opportunity to play more matches,” said head coach Colby Hale. “We will try and build off a championship fall, position ourselves for the NCAA Tournament, and peak at the correct time to try and make a deep run.”
