NORMAN – The Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced Oklahoma’s inaugural 2024 SEC schedule under second-year head coach Aaron Mansfield.

Each school will face two teams twice and the remaining programs once in the 16-match conference slate. The Sooners will battle Arkansas and Texas in home-and-home matches next season. The schedule includes six home and six away contests with the remaining 12 teams. OU will host Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Texas A&M and Auburn and visit Kentucky, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Nine of Oklahoma’s 14 opponents advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2023: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Texas. Texas won the 2023 national championship, Arkansas reached the Elite Eight, and Tennessee and Kentucky made the Sweet 16. Five of OU’s opponents also finished in the top 25 of the 2023 AVCA Coaches Poll: No. 1 Texas, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 10 Kentucky and No. 19 Florida. Texas also won the 2023 Big 12 Championship, while Kentucky claimed the SEC title.

Oklahoma will start conference play with two matches at McCasland Field House in Norman, hosting Florida on Friday, Sept. 26 and Tennessee on Sunday, Sept. 29. OU then treks to Kentucky for its first midweek conference matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Oklahoma and Arkansas open its two-match series at McCasland Field House on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Razorbacks host the Sooners on Wednesday, Nov. 27, wrapping up the regular season.

OU will hit the road for three consecutive matches, traveling to LSU on Friday, Oct. 11, Georgia on Friday, Oct. 18 and South Carolina on Sunday, Oct. 20.

The Sooners return to McCasland Field House for a pair of matches, hosting Alabama on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Missouri on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Oklahoma and Texas open the 2024 Red River Rivalry in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, Nov. 3. The Longhorns travel to Norman for the second match on Friday, Nov. 22.

OU will head to Mississippi for a pair of matches, taking on Ole Miss on Friday, Nov. 8 and Mississippi State on Sunday, Nov. 10.

The Sooners and former Big 12 opponent Texas A&M will meet again as conference foes on Wednesday, Nov. 13 in College Station.

Auburn will head to Norman for the final home match on Sunday, Nov 24.

Oklahoma’s non-conference slate will be revealed at a later date. Start times and TV information will be added to SoonerSports.com as they become available.
