RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s golfers of the week for the opening week of the 2024 spring season. Henderson State’s Ethan Wilkins claimed the honor following his performance at the Houston Classic.
#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Ethan Wilkins, Sr., Henderson State, Sussex, WisconsinWilkins helped the Reddies take third at the Houston Classic as he tied for third in the 87-player event. He opened with four birdies as part of a 2-under par 70. Following a 77 in the second round, he came back with a 1-under 71. His 10 birdies ranked sixth in the field and scoring average on par-5s of 4.67 ranked fifth.
