RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s soccer players of the week for the final week of the 2023 season. Rogers State’s George Robinson won the Offensive Player award; Northeastern State’s William De Dios claimed the Defender honor while the RiverHawks Ian Milla and Ouachita Baptist’s Dillon Staal shared the Goalkeeper accolade.

Robinson led the Hillcats to a 2-0 week at home to close out the regular season. In the regular-season finale against Fort Hays State, he came up with his second hat trick of the season as he scored all three goals in the 3-2 win. De Dios played the full 180 minutes in the RiverHawks two contests last week - a scoreless draw against Ouachita Baptist and a 3-0 victory against Harding. Milla recorded two shutouts as he made a total of seven saves between a draw with Ouachita Baptist and a three-goal triumph against Harding. He finished the regular season as the league leader in saves, eight; save percentage, .833; and goals-against average, 0.77. Staal registered his first shutout of the season and the second of his career as the Tigers played Northeastern State to a scoreless draw. He made a career-high 12 saves.
