Juliani collected three goals and an assist as the Jets defeated Jamestown and Northeastern State. In the non-conference win against the Jimmies, he scored in the 28th minute on assists by Bilal Olayiwola and Gustavo Dias Juliani. In their GAC opener against the RiverHawks, he scored twice in the second half of the 4-2 victory. He assisted on Kei Nagakura’s 78th-minute goal.
#theGAC/MIAA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tiago Moreira, D, Southern Nazarene, Jr., Famalicão, Portugal
Moreira helped Crimson Storm open 2-0 in league play following road victories against Ouachita Baptist and Harding. He played the full 90 minutes against the Bisons. The defense gave up only four shots on goal. He contributed to the offense by scoring the decisive goals in a two-minute span in the second half. The first goal came when he headed home a corner kick.
#theGAC/MIAA GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK – Jaxon Kendall, GK, Rogers State, Jr., Owasso, Oklahoma
Kendall lowered his goals-against average to 0.25 after he recorded shutouts at Harding and Ouachita Baptist. He registered a career-high seven saves against the Bisons. He made one save against the Tigers. He has a Division-II leading six shutouts in eight starts. His goals-against average ranks second in the country.
