Meyer averaged 4.57 kills and 5.57 points per set as the Golden Suns defeated Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello to improve to 3-0 in league play. She amassed 20 kills with a .341 attack percentage against the Muleriders. She added 11 digs and three aces. In a sweep of the Blossoms, she hit .611 with 12 kills against just one error.
#theGAC VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Karsyn Hunter, L, Oklahoma Baptist, Sr., Forney, Texas
Hunter led the conference in digs per for the week, 6.00, as the Bison collected wins against Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State. She collected 13 digs in a sweep of the Crimson Storm. She followed up with a career-high 29 digs in their four-set win against the Bulldogs.
#theGAC VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK – Olivia Wiedower, S, Harding, Jr., Conway, Arkansas
Wiedower averaged 11.00 assists per set as the Lady Bisons picked up GAC wins against Henderson State and Arkansas-Monticello. She had 54 assists and 10 digs in a four-set win against the Reddies. After tallying 34 assists and 10 digs against Ouachita Baptist, she closed out her week with 22 digs and 11 digs in a sweep of the Blossoms.
