RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s and men’s golfers of the week for the fourth week of the fall season. Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Romane Lacoste won the women’s award and the Rangers’ Matti Zerwin earned the men’s honor.

Lacoste led the Rangers to a four-stroke victory at Oklahoma Baptist Fall Invitational after she captured the individual medalist honors. She overcame a two-stroke final-round deficit by carding a school-record 5-under par 67 to win by four shots. She birdied her final four holes to post the low round of the event by three shots.
#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Matti Zerwin, So., Northwestern Oklahoma State, Lafayette, Colorado
Zerwin garnered the individual title at the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational after firing rounds of 4-under 68 and 2-under 70 to claim a two-shot win. His opening round featured six birdies and he followed up five in the second round. The Rangers finished eighth in the team competition.
