RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the league’s first Women’s Tennis Player of the Week award for 2021. Henderson State’s Georjemah Row won the honor after her performance against Southern Arkansas.
GAC WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Georjemah Row, Henderson State, Jr., Honiara, Solomon Islands
Row earned the clinching point in the Reddies’ 4-3 win against Southern Arkansas. In her match at No. 2 singles against Sarah Roy, she rallied from dropping the first set by winning the second set in a tiebreak and the third set, 6-3. The Reddies became the first GAC team to defeat SAU since the program’s reboot in 2019.
