RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the men’s and women’s golfer of the week for the third week of the fall season. Arkansas Tech’s Roby Cooper won the men’s honor and Northwestern Oklahoma State’s Gracie Doke claimed the women’s award.

#theGAC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Roby Cooper, Sr., Arkansas Tech, Melbourne, Arkansas
Cooper helped the Wonder Boys tie for third at the NSU Men’s Classic. He posted three consecutive sub-par rounds to finish at 9-under par. He tied for third in the individual competition. His best score came in round two, a 5-under 66. He made 14 birdies over his final 36 holes.

#theGAC WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Gracie Doke, Sr., Northwestern Oklahoma State, Jenks, Oklahoma
Doke carded rounds of 2-over 73 and 3-over 74 to claim third place at the Oklahoma Women’s Intercollegiate. In Monday’s opening round, she eagled the par-5 sixth hole – the lone eagle of the tournament. She added three birdies. The Rangers finished in fifth.
