RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the seventh GAC women’s track & field athletes of the week recipients. Harding’s Jerlana Williams won the Track award and her teammate, Hanna Onufriieva, captured the field honor.

#theGAC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Jerlana Williams, So., Harding, Princeton, Texas
Williams broke her own 60-meter school record twice in a single day at the Arkansas Qualifier. After running 7.53 in the prelims, she clocked a 7.47 in the finals to place fourth. The performance ranked as the fastest in the GAC and improved her NCAA Provisional standing to 15th.

#theGAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Hanna Onufriieva, Sr., Harding, Kiev, Ukraine
Onufriieva delivered a career-best performance in the triple jump and shattered her own Harding record. Her mark of 12.43m earned her a third-place finish at the Randal Tyson Indoor Track Center and improved upon her previous program record of 12.24m. The jump significantly bolstered her position on the NCAA Division II national performance list up to sixth.
