RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the third women’s track & field athletes of the week for the indoor season. Oklahoma Baptist’s Kimberly McKinney earned the track honor and the Bison’s Jamora Horace won the field accolade.

#theGAC WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Kimberly McKinney, Sr., Oklahoma Baptist, Peyton, Colorado
McKinney won the 800-meter run at Pitt State’s Rumble in the Jungle Invitational by more than two seconds. Her time of 2:13.52 reached the NCAA provisional standard. She achieved a personal-best with a time that paces the GAC and ranks 31st in Division II this season.

#theGAC WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Jamora Horace, Jr., Oklahoma Baptist, Fort Worth, Texas
Horace placed second in the high jump during Pitt State’s Rumble in the Jungle Invitational. She cleared 1.73 meters on her first attempt at that height. It represented a personal-best. She previously jumped 1.72 meters at the 2024 Crimson and Gold Invitational. Her mark leads the conference and ranks ninth in Division II.
