#theGAC WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Valerie Olson, Gr., Oklahoma Baptist, Battle Ground, Washington
Olson ran the second leg of the Bison’s 4×400 relay team which recorded the No. 3 performance in the country, 3:38.22. Individually, she registered a seventh-place showing in the 100 hurdles with an NCAA provisional time of 14.03, the top time in the GAC this season. It ranks 28th nationally.
#theGAC WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Cadence Sansom, Jr., Harding, Lago Vista, Texas
Sansom won the pole vault at the Dan Veach Invitational with a season-best and NCAA provisional clearance of 3.81 meters on her first attempt. She won by 0.15 meters. She moved into first place on the GAC performance list. Her clearance ranks 28th in Division II.
