RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s tennis player of the week for the eighth week of the 2026 season. Henderson State’s Emilia Nowak won the award after collecting three individual victories.

Nowak improved to 9-4 in doubles play after she earned doubles wins with Jordan Parker against East Texas Baptist and UT Dallas. The tandem dropped only three games. In the win against Tigers she added a win at No. 2 singles against Fernan Ruiz-Burkart,  6-1, 6-0. Against UT Dallas’ Presley Churchman, she led after the first set at the time of match completion.
