RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s tennis player of the week for the fourth week of the 2025 season. Harding’s Alexia Zarate Valdez repeated after going undefeated in four matches.

Zarate Valdez ran her singles record to 5-2 at the No. 1 position after she scored straight-set victories against UT Permian Basin’s Brooke Runyan and Lubbock Christian’s Anastasiia Opolska, the No. 26 player in the country. In doubles play, she paired with Karli Roux for wins against UT Permian Basin and UT Tyler to improve to 6-7 as a team.
