RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the women’s tennis player of the week for the seventh week of the 2025 season. Southern Arkansas’ Amelie Gindl collected the award after helping the Muleriders collect two victories.

#theGAC WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Amelie Gindl, So., Southern Arkansas, Mönchhof, Austria
Gindl earned two singles victories and two doubles victories as the Muleriders defeated No. 31 UT Tyler and UAFS. Against the Patriots, she paired with Maria Fiacan for a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles. In singles, she beat Yona Bancarel, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Against the Lions, she and Fiacan won 6-3 in doubles. She scored a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Arianna Debernardo.
