Florida remained at No. 1 with a 197.613 average, while LSU held No. 2 with a 197.325 average. The Sooners passed Utah who dropped to No 4 (197.113). Michigan rounded out the top five with a 197.025 average.
OU holds the No. 2 spot on vault (49.357) and the No. 3 spot on bars (49.346). The Sooners are tied for eighth on beam (39.129) and sixth on floor (49.300).
Nine Sooners hold 12 individual rankings. Anastasia Webb leads the way with top-10 rankings on two events and in the all-around. Webb is fourth on beam (9.921), 10th on vault (9.882) and 24th in the all-around (39.279).
Two other seniors join Webb in the rankings as Evy Schoepfer is ranked fourth on vault (9.896) and Carly Woodard in tied for 10th on beam (9.900).
Sophomore Vanessa Deniz is ranked in the top 10 on a pair of events coming in at No. 7 on beam (9.908) and tied for eighth on bars (9.900). Junior Allie Stern is ranked No. 21 on vault (9.868) while fellow junior Olivia Trautman made her debut in the rankings at No. 16 on bars (9.875). Sophomore Ragan Smith is tied for 18th on floor (9.895).
Two freshmen are ranked with Audrey Davis at No. 11 on bars (9.900) and Audrey Lynn at No. 14 on vault (9.875).
This is the last week that rankings will be determined using team averages. Beginning with the March 1 rankings, teams will go to their national qualifying score (NQS). Due to the limited number of meets for some teams in 2021, NQS will be calculated with just four scores instead of six. The top four scores, two of which must be away, will be averaged and no score will be dropped.
For the first time since January, the Sooners are back inside the friendly confines of Lloyd Noble Center. OU will host Denver, Lindenwood and TWU in a quad meet on Friday, Feb. 26 at 6:45 p.m. CT. Tickets are available by visiting soonersports.com.
