Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Oklahoma State softball team fell to 20-2 on the season after dropping their game against Houston 4-2.
The Cowgirls got off to a quick start, scoring two runs in the first inning, but ultimately were kept off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.
Chyenne Factor led the OSU offense with two hits and recorded both RBI on the day.
Kelly Maxwell got the start in the circle for OSU. She gave up four hits in four innings of work, while fanning seven Cougars. Maxwell suffered her first loss of the season, moving her record to 7-1.
Logan Simunek came on in relief of Maxwell. Simunek allowed four hits in three innings and allowed one run.
The Cowgirls are scheduled to back in action at Cowgirl Stadium on Thursday, March 18th. The game is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. CT.
