RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – With the 2024 softball regular season complete, the Great American Conference announced the bracket and schedule for the GAC Softball Championships - Presented by Under Armour. The eight-team event begins Thursday from the Tiger Athletic Complex in Bentonville, Arkansas with two first-round and two second-round games.

The winners play the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds later on Thursday. The two-two seeds - Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene -  earn byes until Friday’s semifinal.

Play begins at 10:30 a.m. with fifth-seeded Arkansas Tech facing eighth-seeded Henderson State. The Golden Suns won two of three in early March.  Game two features 2023 champion Southeastern Oklahoma State and Arkansas-Monticello. The Blossoms took two of three at home in February during the opening weekend of conference play.

At 3:30 p.m., No. 4 Southern Arkansas draws the game one winner. The Muleriders swept the Reddies but dropped all three to the Golden Suns. Day one concludes with No. 3 Harding against either the Southeastern or UAM.
