Clausen hit .600 as the Muleriders won three against East Central for their seventh-straight GAC sweep. She went 2-for-3 with a run-scoring double in game one. She hit a first-inning, three-run home run as part of a three-hit game in game two. She added another run-scoring double in game three. SAU extended its overall win streak to 25.
#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Brinson Rogers, RHP, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Statesboro, Georgia
Rogers established the GAC single-season record for Pitcher of the Week honors as she collected her ninth of the season after she went 2-0 with 21 strikeouts and two shutouts. Against ECU, she struck out 11 and walked one as part of a one-hit shutout on Friday. On Saturday, she pitched the final 1.1 innings of game two of the series and followed up with a five-hit shutout.
