RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the softball weekly award winners for the seventh week of the 2025 season. Oklahoma Baptist’s Morgan Max captured Player of the Week while Southern Arkansas’ Brinson Rogers earned Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Morgan Max, P/UTL, Oklahoma Baptist, Sr., Moore, Oklahoma
Max hit three home runs and drove in 12 runs as part of a 4-1 week for the Bison. She hit a three-run home run and a go-ahead grand slam as they overcame a six-run deficit to Southern Nazarene. In game one against Henderson State, she went 4-for-4 with a homer and four RBI. She added 8.2 innings of work in the circle. She went 1-0 in three stints with a 0.84 ERA.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Brinson Rogers, RHP,  Southern Arkansas, Sr., Statesboro, Georgia
Rogers collected her fifth Pitcher of the Week honor after she earned the win in all five of SAU’s contests. In a doubleheader against Arkansas-Monticello, she pitched 10.0 scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts. Against Northwestern Oklahoma State, she struck out 29, walked three and gave up just seven hits across 14.0 innings. Her 16 wins and 148 strikeouts lead Division II.
