RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the softball weekly award winners for the sixth week of the 2025 season. Harding’s Zoey Neal captured Player of the Week while Southern Arkansas’ Brinson Rogers won Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Zoey Neal, INF, Harding, Jr., Dyer, Tennessee
Neal hit .500 with two home runs and seven RBI to lead the Lady Bisons in a series sweep of Henderson State. She went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the opener. In game two, she hit a pair of three-run home runs. She walked and drove in her seventh run  of the series in game three.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Brinson Rogers, RHP,  Southern Arkansas, Sr., Statesboro, Georgia
Rogers improved to 11-2 and lowered her ERA to 1.17 after she threw 15.0 scoreless innings in a start against Lane College and two appearances against Ouachita Baptist. She threw a 5.0-inning no-hitter against Lane College with 12 strikeouts. Against the Tigers, she tallied 20 strikeouts against only three hits and zero walks.
