RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the softball weekly award winners for the third week of the 2025 season. Harding’s Zoey Neal scored Player of the Week and Southern Arkansas’ Brinson Rogers repeated as Pitcher of the Week.

Neal proved a near-impossible out as the Lady Bisons went a combined 3-1 against No. 23 McKendree and Maryville. She reached base 12 times in 14 plate appearances. She homered and drove in five runs. Her .595 average, .617 on-base percentage and 24 RBI lead the GAC. The .595 average ranks fourth among Division II players with at least 30 at bats.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Brinson Rogers, RHP, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Statesboro, Georgia
Rogers ran her consecutive scoreless innings streak to 27.0 after she threw a no-hitter – the first of her career – against Missouri Southern. She struck out 10 in the 1-0 victory. She did not walk a batter as she improved to 5-1 and lowered her ERA to 1.30. She has three double-digit strikeout performances in her last four starts.
