McMurray hit .600 during the Alvy Early Memorial Classic. She homered and tallied multi-hit games in her four starts. Against Central Missouri, she hit a go-ahead home run in the third inning. She hit a game-tying, sixth-inning home run against St. Mary’s. She hit three-run home runs against both Washburn and Maryville. She has six home runs in 31 at bats this season.
#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Emma Duncan, RHP, Southern Arkansas, Gr., Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Canada
Duncan threw two complete games as the Muleriders posted their second-straight 5-0 weekend to improve to 10-0 for the first time since 2023. She threw the 23rd no-hitter in school history as part of a 6-0 win against St. Edward’s. She struck out four. Against Texas Woman’s she notched her first double-digit strikeout performance of the season, 11, in a 4-2 win.
