RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced the softball weekly award winners for the second week of the 2025 season. Oklahoma Baptist’s Haley Hacker won Player of the Week and Southern Arkansas’ Brinson Rogers earned Pitcher of the Week.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Haley Hacker, UT/P, Oklahoma Baptist, Fr., Prague, Oklahoma
Hacker collected eight hits in 13 at bats as the Bison split their four contests at the UCO/OC Classic. Against No. 25 Central Oklahoma, she went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base. She doubled and scored a run against No. 9 Rogers State. She went 3-for-3 with a home run, double, four RBI and three runs scored against Western New Mexico.

#theGAC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Brinson Rogers, RHP, Southern Arkansas, Sr., Statesboro, Georgia
Rogers went 3-0 with 20.0 scoreless innings in three appearances. She surrendered just 12 hits while holding Central Missouri, Northeastern State and Emporia State to a combined .150 average. She struck out 12 in a 5-0 win against Central Missouri. She registered a one-hit shutout and 10 strikeouts against Northeastern State. She stuck out eight against Emporia State.
