Eastern Oklahoma- God’s Country

No doubt in my mind that as this world was being put together, He parked the purtiest parts in SE Okla. Within minutes, there are lakes, rivers, creeks and streams to enjoy. Mt’s and Hills to look down and enjoy the beauty. Small towns and some of the nicest people that you’ll ever gonna come across. I finally made time to get out and take a slow drive thru the woods down South of Reichert last weekend. It was much needed. Nearly an hour without the sound of traffic or other human beans. Just wind thru the pines, ripplin’ water and my squirrel dawg barkin’ on tree. It was good for me. So get out, enjoy the colors of the woods- the 1,000 shades of green, the redbuds and dawgwoods, the blue hues of surrounding mts and red dirt roads. And all in that window that’s just before the release of the group of critters that God uses to keep it all balanced. Ya know, Chiggers, ticks and ‘skeeters. Take a picnic basket and a gallon of sweet tea, just leave it like ya found it.

When they start playing, ya can’t sit still. Music starts at 8:30pm on Sat. 29th. Muldrow City Limits, where all the cool folks go, will have music by “Skyler and Friends” on Sat. 29th. There have been breaking and setting new record numbers in attendance lately. 140+, but there are plenty of seats to go ‘round and the dance floor is a big one so worry not.
