I have been focused on two bands based from these parts because I respect and admire them for answering their calling and living the dream. Full time recording artists, successful in delivering their offering in an industry that is today hard for me to keep up. Both have a large if not huge fanbase, several songs that have been recognized on National and overseas markets and charts. Both bands work at the business of writing, recording and performing the tunes as well as doing interviews, fb pages and carrying the message of the music.

“Chaotic Resemblance”- Christian Metal band, will be spending 3 weeks in Denmark and Germany in May. I’ve lost count of the trips across the pond. It’s a fertile country for this genre and for hungry souls. Safe travels! “Hillbilly Vegas” has another tour in England with the highlight at the Maid of Stone Festival 2025 in Mid July. It is timed well with the release of their new album (soon to be titled) and is expected to make a big splash. And I quote the guys, “After 7 weeks and 4.2 million “discussions”…the new album is FINISHED! Bonus…we didn’t kill each other “. Release in the U.S. TBD. Maybe an album release party close to home? The first single “Let It Ride” went to #10 on Billboard’s Rock chart. Some of the other new songs will be charted higher this go ‘round. IMHO! Lots more info on both tours as it draws closer. So keep your hands off the dial, and keep your radio tuned to KLCO. Or your favorite streaming whatcamacallit.

Muskogee, Okla. USA is know for more than just, well ya know. Seriously tho, The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the best chances to enjoy bands from Okla. of all genres. And to enjoy the museum with all OMHOF members listed and their achievements on display. So it is an honor and a purty big deal to get a spot on this stage.

This newly formed band “SideKicks” will be showcased and will take the stage on April 24th. More details on the event here. Congrats guys!

Starting in April, The longest running family gospel singing, “The Wright Family” will gather on the grass at The Red Barn Farm in Shady Point. Easy to find. Robert, Rochelle and Kyler invite ya all to the singing. Family Friendly, of course, and NS/ND. Info on Dates and time soon.

Live Music this week- “The Stagemasters” are featured at La Heurta’s/Ft. Smith on Thursday 10th. Grab a bite on the patio, enjoy the Springtime weather and listen to some awesome country music. Music starts at 6pm.

“Wildhorse” at Dawn’s Diner/Red Oak on Friday 11th. Country Music at its finest. Give yourself a treat and take Mom-n’em to dinner and dancin’. Music starts at 7pm.

“Make It a Double” head over to The Mighty Crab- 5707 Rogers Ave on Sat. 12th. Connie and Dave Abbott make Classic Country music most enjoyable. They play at some of the bigger dance halls in our area but I think Dave told Connie he was taking her out for a nite on the town. Then he eats a platter or two of seafood while she unloads and sets up the equip. Date Nite? Music from 6-9 pm.

‘Cross the Ark. River, Muldrow City Limits will have “The MidWestern Playboys”on Sat. 12. This band has a lotta talent and are not afraid to use it. Their experience with pacing shows, dances and concerts keep the dancefloor full and the crowds entertained. Drift over to

Muldrow, enjoy the best dance hall in our area with the biggest crowds. Plenty of new seating, concessions and more. Shelia and David invite ya to come join in the fun. They open at 6pm and music starts at 7pm. See ya there.
