T.B. Lunsford was a county chairman of the War Savings Stamps Organization and member of the county Legal Advisory Board.
Made many speeches for different war activities and was one the foremost men attached to the county’s war organizations.
Member of the county council of defense, and a pioneer worker on behalf of this organization, and much of the success of this organization was due to his efforts. He put LeFlore county over the top in the W.S.S. organization and was regarded by the state organization as one of the best county chairmen in the state.
The War Savings Bank of Poteau was built due to his efforts and was one of the most attractive buildings of its kind in the state. The largest crowds, (perhaps ever seen in Poteau,) were in attendance here on the day the bank was dedicated.
Mr. Lunsford has a son in the war of whom the whole county is proud, and no man has been more active on behalf of war activities than has Mr. Lunsford.
Mr. Lunsford is one the leading attorneys of the Poteau bar, and has a large practice, being the senior member of the law firm of Lunsford and Bulgin.
