Merry Christmas from the North Pole!
Hello boys and girls, my name is Dewey. I am one of Santa’s elves, and am writing to let you know that Santa is sending me to Poteau again! I am so excited to be flying into town with my new friend, McKenna, the night after Thanksgiving, and to make my first appearance in Poteau on Saturday morning, November 30th. That’s right, SHOP SMALL SATURDAY! A hint…We will be on Dewey Ave. for our first day in town!! Come on down; find me, and let’s take a picture together.
Since Santa is so busy this time of year, he is sending us on this special Christmas mission. We will be visiting you all through late December, and during that time, we hope all of you will be on your best behavior because we will be checking in with Santa every night to update him on everyone who came to visit us. You can also drop off your letters to Santa while you are visiting with us and I, Dewey, will deliver them to him myself!
To keep things merry and bright during our time in Poteau, we will be playing “Where’s Dewey & McKenna?” We will be hiding in store windows up and down Dewey Avenue, as well as all around Poteau. Don’t forget to take a picture with us when you find us and post it to Facebook so that our friends at the Poteau Mainstreet office can see who all came by to visit us!
