The Board of County Commissioners, LeFlore County, State of Oklahoma, met in a Regular Business Meeting on July 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Jamie Oliver presiding. Also present were Vice-Chair Vallard Campbell, Member Cody Covey and County Clerk Kelli Ford.
The following action was taken by the board:
(1.) Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
(2.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve the minutes of regular meeting held July 10, 2023. Motion was approved all voting yes.
(3.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve claims/purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(4.) Bonds. None presented.
(5.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve monthly fee reports as presented by the Court Clerk and Election Board, and are on file in the office of the County Clerk. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(6.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve transfer of appropriations in the amount of $35.00 from Hodgen Fire Department maintenance and operations account to Hogeye Fire Department maintenance and operations regarding an error correction. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(7.) Blanket purchase orders: None presented.

(10.) Contracts labor/service agreements, annual contracts: None presented.

(12.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve Declaration of Surplus regarding equipment items HAW-301.002 2008 Ford Truck with original purchase price of $4,000 and HAW-354.001 Truck Bed with original purchase price of $1000 to benefit the LeFlore County Haw Creek Fire Department. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(13.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve Bid Notice and Resolution advertising to accept sealed bids regarding the sale of a 2008 Ford pick-up truck with truck bed to benefit the LeFlore County Haw Creek Fire Department. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(14.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Cody Covey to approve addition of Michelle Rose in place of Jonna Robinson as Requisitioning Officer to all LeFlore County Detention Center accounts. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(15.) Motion was made by Vallard Campbell and seconded by Cody Covey to approve request for use of LATCF funding regarding the purchase of 25 ballistic vests and 25 carriers for the sum of approximately $31,647 to benefit the LeFlore County Sheriff’s Department. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(16.) Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve construction plans 29984(04), bridge and approaches along EW-148 crossing Reichert, OK as submitted by MKEC Engineering. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
(17.) Motion was made by Cody Covey and seconded by Jamie Oliver to award bid regarding the construction of a new bridge on Bud French Road approximately 1.5 miles South of Highway 112 to Railroad Yard in the amount of $156,300.00. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
