Collin Urizar, has been battling renal failure, spina bifida and hydrocephalus since birth. He has been on dialysis for almost 2 years now and has come to a critical point.
He needs a kidney transplant to go on to live a long, full life.
Collin’s family and friends are hosting a fundraiser for help for the critical expenses they face now and will continue to face after Collin has surgery, which on top of many appointments with many different doctors, includes the cost of lodging near the transplant center where he is required to stay a minimum of 30 days after discharge.
Collin is always happy and smiling despite all his chronic health conditions. He loves fishing and playing outside. Collin has already been through 16 surgeries in his short little life, but he is a true fighter. He only has 11% function left in both kidneys combined and needs our help now!
An Indian Taco or Tamale Plate Benefit has been scheduled in his honor to help the family with much needed medical expenses.
The benefit will be held on September 21, 2018 at the Dale Cox Community Center in Poteau from 11 am until 2:30pm.
Get your choice of Indian Taco or three Tamales, a drink and dessert for only $7 per plate.
Dine in or have your ordered delivered for orders of 5 or more.
