Ok y’all, I never want to say this but there will be freezing rain Monday. Casually go to the store and get what you need for about a week or longer. This is not a major emergency so please save product for everyone on the shelves.
However, freezing rain is going to occur Monday across Oklahoma and Arkansas. In addition to this, travel impacts are expected to occur by Monday afternoon. Cold temperatures will remain as well, with Saturday highs being around 29°F. Overnight tonight it will be around 11°F and Saturday night 17°F.
Time– Monday morning after midnight in Leflore county. A quarter of an inch may be possible in ice totals. So do not get out unless it’s a emergency if all possible. If you do, pack your vehicle with a blanket, water, and other means to survive if stranded in the wilderness of Lleflore county.
Stay aware, I’m Brandon Alexander.
